Masterchef SA Season 3

When I first found out this popular show was heading to sunny SA shores I was over thrilled.As a keen foodie who devours the British and Austrailian versions having a SA taste was divine.
Foodies all over SA switched on to watch this much talked about reality TV show.Sponors of the show include Robertsons Spices, Woolworths ,Nederburg ,Tsogo Sun and Le Creuset all popular SA brands.The MCSA kitchen is set in the beautiful wine district of Cape Town with breathtaking views.

In its third season the show airs every Thurday at 19h30 on Dstv channel 101.I rush home from work each week with literally minutes to spare to get my weekly fix.I enjoy the tweet along with all the sponsors as well as the great giveaways weekly.Chef Reuben Riffel has joined the panel of judges and brings in expertise and charm to the show.

The 1st episode saw contestants filleting fish and making a dish in Cape Town Harbour.From this I instantly knew this season 3 was going to be filled with lots of twists and surprises.Challenges so far have included working with a mystry ingredient halfway through the show which was a tomato and the use of various types of carrots in another show.Roxi one of winners of the challenge won a trip to Dublin ! Like wow to eat at a Michellin Star eatery.

All I can say the SA version of Masterchef is getting more intense each season and the calibre of people coming through have excellent knowledge and cooking skills.
