Frys Chilli Burger Manchurian with Stir Fried Veg Rice Recipe
We as a family have been eating Frys products ever since the product was introduced into the market.Literally we have tried out every product in the range and we most defo have our favourites.
As Mum is a vegetarian and I abstain from eating meat for three days a week, I am always searching for products to ensure she has sufficient protein in her diet. The new and improved Burger range delivers on taste ,flavour and protein content. And most importantly Mum gave it the Thumbs Up!Fry’s are relaunching their Traditional Burger and Spiced Burger with a new formula. The new formula makes these ‘old favourites’ tastier, with better texture and more protein. The Traditional Burger now has an extra 27% protein, and the Spiced Burger an extra 14% protein. So it is really possible to get sufficient protein from plants ? YES as Frys has gone beyond the impossible and done just that with their new and improved Burger ranges.During this time of Lockdown I have personally been making conscious choices in what I eat and have been trying to eat more of a plant based diet but protein always becomes a problem and with these Fry’s products going beyond the impossible of providing more protein I have one less thing to worry about.
So when the team at Frys reached out to me about a collaboration it made total sense as this was a band that features in our shopping list every month and is stocked in our freezer. As I mentioned before I was rather curious about the new flavour and protein content BUT now am totally sold.Over the next few weeks I will be sharing some of my recipes using these delicious burgers with as always my take as well as recipes from the Frys website.
During this Lockdown period I have been spending a lot of time experimenting in the kitchen.I have been creating dishes using what we have indoors as we are limiting our shopping.Mum has always been a huge fan of Indo-Chinese food so part of my experimenting has been to try an recreate dishes we love eating when we go out.So I had to try it out with this delicious burger.
