I am connected

Last Friday was another day that Technology amazed me. AS part of a departmental team building we attended the GOod Food and Wine show. As a keen foodie I was very excited to see some of my favourite chefs in action. Part of my digital addiction includes the use of Twitter on a regular basis. Often i Tweet with the lovely chef Jenny Morris so meeting her or even watching her cook up a storm would have been a treat. I found myself introducing myself to Jenny as my Twitter handle of @verushka143 which she immediately knew and hugged me. It was so amazing to meet a celebrity of Twitter. Jenny reminded us to catch her show where she proudly told everyone how she and I Tweet and reffered to me as a Twit which now my friends affectionally call me. Jenny Morris signed her latest book for me which made me feel very special indeed. Later on my lovely Twitter friend arranged an amazing surprise for me which was a gorgeous signed recipe book from another great chef.Indeed my friends were all green eyed monsters but impresssed with my Twitter contacts. So yes my I love all the contacts I have made via various social networks.YES I AM ADDICTTED AND YES I AM CONNECTED!
