#LondonDiaries 2014 Day 1

006
Most of my followers , readers and friends know I went to London for the Lenovo Launch. To me this was huge considering my love affair with this vibrant city and that fact it was my 1st  media trip
Having lived in this city before I still have countless friends and family there. So I used this opportunity to catch up and do as much as possible in my 6 days.It was incredible how many friends I was able to catch up with in a short space of time
Each day started very early and ended very late into the wee hours of the morning.Surviving on Berocca , about 4hours of sleep a night and using my Eyeslices I loved every moment I spent in London
Due to the fact each day was so awesome I have decided to do a blog post for each I spent in London to share my adventures with you.
Day 1
008 007 009
I arrived to a wet and cold London at 6:25am.Not even the weather could dampen my excitedness of me returning to my beloved city for a whirlwind of 6 days. After going through passport control and picking up my luggage, I made my way to arrivals hall to find a lovely lady awaiting me with a Lenovo Sign.It was then I met my fellow Saffa traveller Craig Wilson , our very smart chauffeur then drove to in his sleek BMW 7 series to our hotel , The Cumberland Hotel based in Marble Arch just off the famous Oxford Street.
Once checked I awaited for my luggage , showered got dressed made a few calls. And at 10am I was outside Marble Arch Station waiting to meet my gorgeous friend Sahera.First stop was Selfridges for a Vodafone Simcard £10 and £5 for 3months unlimited data, 500minutes and unlimited texts.Inbetween catching up,laughing and memories we did some shopping at my beloved Primark before heading down to Edgeware Road for some yummy Arab food which I love.
After lunch we headed so I could meet with another friend Renske a fellow Saffa I used to work with.We ended up catching up while she had her hair done before heading off to the 02 Arena for dinner with more Saffa friends.Supper was at my fav chinese place called Water Margin which boasts a variety of 60 dishes in their buffet. It was a night of great food ,a million laughs and amazing friends.
I got back to the hotel at half 11 that night feeling shattered. It took me ages to fall asleep after my shower.Boy oh boy London I missed you …
Day 2 to follow next week
Ciao
