The SpiceGoddess has landed
Last night I arrived home to Durban, South Africa from magical and mystical Abu Dhabi. From sand dunes to the 7 star hotels I experienced it all in amazing Abu Dhabi almost like a whirlwind wind weekend romance.
Nothing prepares you for this Arabian experience that leaves you with a stuffed belly , a million memories and thousands of pictures. Abu Dhabi was more than I could have ever imagined from culture to food to light fittings and yes the most beautiful buildings. It is hard not to grow fond to such a place.
A big Shukran (Thank You) to Tourism Cultural Authority Abu Dhabi for hosting me and looking after all my needs in your beautiful country. To Natalia Rosa, Shukran for planning such a fantastic trip that gave me a real taste of Abu Dhabi and for giving me this opportunity. To all my new friends I have made on this trip from the PR teams of various hotels and the  locals your warmth and service is 7 Star !
Travelling as a group on a Media Trip can be rather daunting as you never know what to expect. But as I said my goodbyes yesterday as we each made our own homeward bound journeys I knew that new friends were made and it did make me feel sad to say goodbye. To Natalia, David, Charles , Mark and Namritha, I could not have asked for better travel buddies. Thank you for the million memories ,laughter that has left me with stomach muscles and here’s wishing we get to travel together someday soon.
Over the next few weeks, I will be sharing more about my adventures in Abu Dhabi in weekly posts under a new section on the blog called #TravelThursday. I hope you have been following my trip on Social Media with the hashtags #InAbuDhabi #SpiceGoddessInAbuDhabu if not go check out my pictures and videos. If there is anything specific you would like me to cover about this trip do leave me a comment and I will try to cover it in the next few weeks.
Where in the world would you travel to if money was no option ?
Be Inspired !
Ciao
