#OOTD with @Captive8SA

I am by no means a Fashion Blogger , but I have my own style of dressing.I dress so that I feel comfortable in what I am wearing and look good at the same time.
Like most women,I love shopping but I dont buy designer labels. And I rarely ever pay full price on an item.As a plus size girl ,its often difficult to find clothing that doesnt make you look bigger or like a granny.
In recent months ,there has been a trend in Plus Size fashion worldwide.I am so excited for this trend and glad that there are companies in South Africa doing the same.
One such company is Captive8.I first noticed this brand via Twitter. So I decided to check them out.Captive8 is a proudly local South African brand. They manufacture a range of clothing for the full figured lady. The range is stylish yet classic. From casual to formal there is something for every occasion. This range is for sizes 16-24.
The lovely folk at Captive8 sent me a few items to add to my wardrobe.Over the next few weeks I will be sharing my different looks with my twist.I will also be hosting a giveaway from Captive8 so keep a look out for that.
Durban doesnt really experience a full on winter like other parts of the country.Beautiful winter sun filled days are present with a chill in the air.My #OOTD in this post was what I wore a few weeks ago.The look is rather casual and comfy.I wore this for a day out with mum which included lunch and movies.
I teamed up my jeans with this stunning and very flattering waterfall cardigan and snood from Captive8.The cut of the cardigan gives me shape and defines my curves rather than make me look like a sack. The colour is rather versatile and can be used with just about everything. The material is a knitted jersey fabric but is lightweight which is perfect for Durban winter days.I wore a white sleeveless vest from Miladys under my jersey so I would not feel too warm.I added some colour with this rather pretty snood from Captive8 in tones of pink (my favourite colour). The snood is made from cotton knit so its very soft and warm it is also much longer in lenght so when twisting it one doesnt feel like they cant breathe.I really like this look for winter and have been playing around with different cardigans and scarves.
