My Timeout weekend…..

Sometimes we need a weekend with just some timeout.With Gran in hospital for so many days it has been rather stressful for the whole family especially mum.I personally have been sick for several weeks with a cold,chest infection and most recently a kidney infection.
I decided Mum and I both needed a timeout and this is exactly what we did this weekend.Our Saturday started off with amazing Pedicures at Sorbet followed by lunch at Simply Asia a place which we both love.That afternoon we went to visit Gran in hospital.Mum looked so much better.As the weather had changed from a glorious hot day , I felt a coffee was needed so off to Chateaux Gateau for some afternoon treats (review to follow soon).
Sunday got off to a rather early start.Mum has bèen wanting to watch a Bollywood movie for ages.So off we went to Suncoast to catch the first screening of the day.It was such a heartwarming movie that made me cry.Then it was time for lunch and off to hospital to visit Gran.
My weekend did seem rather busy BUT it was spent with my mum doing nice things.Sometimes we do need a break to do the things that make our soul happy.
