OOTD // Pretty in Pink

I generally dont dress up for work.Meaning I do smart casual ,some days no make up and my hair is often tied up in a bun.So when it comes to function days at work I dress up and love creating a good impression.
Last week at work, we had a formal lunch function celebrating Women.This was the first time we have had a function like this.The day before my friends and I chatted about what we would wear typical girls.We decided on dresses.I love dressing up for functions and events and always use a dress.I find dresses very classy and elegant.
As it was a day function and it was rather warm,I opted to wear a Salmon Pink sleeveless lace dress.Lace never seems to go out of fashion.I hate showing my arms so paired my dress with my favourite black lightweight jacket.I very rarely use high heels so decided on stockings and my pointy animal print pumps.A statement silver and teal neck piece was used as it matched my handbag from Blackcherry.
This is one of my favourite dresses that I purchased on sale 3 years ago.Having lost some weight this dress fits me so much better and the tailored jacket gives me so much shape.I recieved several compliments from staff and my students.
My dress ,jacket and jewellery were all purchased from Miladys and my pumps are from Woolworths.I use Estee Lauder Makeup.Check out my pics and let me know your thoughts…..
