Circus Circus – Galleria Mall

Over the last few months the Galleria Mall south of Durban, based in Toti has been getting a facelift.One of the latest additions is a new eatery in the form of Circus Circus.Having eaten at the Pavillion branch I was too impressed but was keen to try it out
For religious reasons , I abstain from eating meat/eggs/chicken/fish several days of the week including a Saturday.Mum is a vegetarian so we are always looking for eateries with a variety of veg options.The first thing that attracts you to Circus Circus is how relaxed, vibey and smart the decor is.To me it reminds me of Tasha’s and you would actually forget you are in Toti.
The decor is a collection of pale colours and is very open and airy.It also has a feeling of a relaxed atmosphere with sutle music playing in the background.Friendly staff are on hand to seat you and help with your trolley.Once seated the specials of the day were offered and our drinks menu taken.Mum and I always tend to get different dishes so we can share and try out more.
We opted for Nachos and a Feta and Butternut wrap.While waiting for our meals to arrive one of the two store managers on duty came over to chat to us and told us of the week day specials on a Tuesday off half price on burgers and pastas.Our food arrived , the portions were huge , tasty and very fresh.My sour cream had a hint of fresh lime in it.As the portions were so huge mum and I shared one of the wraps and finished off the ever so yummy Nachos.We had to take a doggy bag home.
On Tuesday my friend Karina and I met for supper at my new favourite eatery and I really wanted to try the veg burger.Karina had the butternut wrap while I had the burger.Sorry for not taking a pic but I was starving.Typical veg burgers always include a hashbrown or a soya burger patty.This burger consisted of a huge brown mushroom grilled and atop that a patty was made of sweet potato and mixed beans.Divine is an understatement, the burger came with salad and a portion of chips.
Circus Circus has become my new favourite spot to eat at in Galleria.Looking forward to sampling the meat dishes on the menu soon.

#UPDATE Circus Circus now has daily specials with Tuesday been my favourite day. All day on Tuesday is half price on Burgers and Pastas which is great for the budget.
