#OOTD Lady in Red
Last weekend I attended my cousin’s Kitchen Tea.The dress code was dresses as it was a High Tea.Even though I wasnt better I got,and got ready.
Whenever I attend events I always wear a dress. There is just something magical about putting on a dress.Guess its the whole dressing up as a Princess from our childhood that lingers with us.Yes I do know the popular saying a pair of shoes can change your life BUT a dress does indeed make you feel like a princess.
More than often I go for Black dresses as one never can actually go wrong with having too many LBDs.So I kinda surprised myself when I bought this rather bright red dress last year.I tend to only buy items on sale.
I bought this lovely red dress in Edgars. Its a simple ,well cut dress. It is from the Penny C range in Edgars which caters for the plus size lady. The fabric is rather thick so it is perfect for the colder weather. The dress came with a detachable gold neck piece,I removed it as it was not in my taste.
My jacket is made from a much lighter fabric.Having a black jacket is key in any wardrobe. The styling of the jacket was not box shaped but that of a waterfall. This jacket can be used in winter and summer.

Though I didnt feel well , I looked amazing and felt a million bucks. So yes my dress did make me feel like a Princess.
