A few weeks ago , I recieved a gorgeous Blogger Drop from the Yardley London PR team. Most people who know me know of my Love Affair with London and how I love all things from London.
On opening the box a gorgeous Black Box was revealed and the hashtag #bondstreetforher. Having lived in London for several years , I have often walked down Bond Street and shopped there. So recieving this fragrance was such a wonderful surprise.
Yardley London , is an international UK based company. It is the oldest firm in the world to specialise in comestics ,fragrances and toiletry products. The company was established in 1770 and was a major producer of soap and perfumery at the start of the 20th century. In 1910 Yardley London moved to the famous and iconic Bond Street which their latest female fragrance is named after.
The fragrance has been created to attract the sophisticated ,unique and younger consumer. This is rather important as it is mostly the older consumer who knows the brand or buys the brand. The scents that make up this fragrance include Orange Blossom, Patchouli Solar ,Honey Cedar and Woody Notes.
So after reading up on this new scent , here is my VERDICT :
- Love the square shape of the bottle and lid. Has an expensive feel to it. The packaging instore in a subtle pink yet not too girly almost a modern shine to the shade of pink.
- Not a very strong scent rather subtle and perfect for summer days.
- Long wearing smell often I have to carry my bottle of fragrance around with me for a quick squirt but this lasted for more than have a day.
WOULD I BUY IT ?
Yes as it is a lovely soft fragrance perferct for summer. The long lasting smell means I will use less and will save money.
The fragrance comes in 2 sizes :
Bond Street Fragrance for Her 30ml = R279.95
Bond Street Fragrance for Her 50 ml = R349.95
These are available at Dischem,Clicks ,Edgars and Foschini stores nationwide.
